IHA members include major health plans, physician groups, and hospital systems, plus academic, consumer, purchaser, pharmaceutical and technology representatives.
The following member organizations comprise the Integrated Healthcare Association:
A little history: IHA was established as a statewide association in late 1994, governed by a 32-member board of directors with equal representation from health plans, physician groups, health systems and hospitals. In July 1996, the Board added representatives from the academic, business/purchaser, and consumer sectors. In December 1997, the Board merged the health system and hospital membership categories, and in January 1999 added two at-large seats for senior pharmaceutical industry representatives.
“The major achievement is bringing large health plans, medical groups, NCQA and PBGH together to produce a statewide state-of-art quality report card based on best of class features.”
