Regional Data Center Collaborative

IHA is one of 10 organizations taking part in the Center for Healthcare Transparency’s Regional Data Center Collaborative to identify best practices for health care quality and cost transparency standards and processes. As a part of this work, IHA is sharing expertise on data collection, management, integration, analysis and publication; contributing to best practices to replicate or build on for developing contracts, data use agreements, analytics, reports and data presentation; contributing to a resource library of best practices; and helping to identify potential solutions to barriers to developing and publishing comparable information on cost, quality and patient experience.

The Regional Data Center Collaborative is led by the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement and the Pacific Business Group on Health, with funding from the John and Laura Arnold Foundation.

Phase 2 of the project will focus on implementation of a strategy to ensure that 50% of the U.S. population has access to useful and relevant cost, quality, and patient experience data by 2020.
