Yelena Yakunina Senior Data Analyst, Pay for Performance Program
Yelena Yakunina is a senior data analyst for the California Pay for Performance Program. She is responsible for performance calculations, data modeling to support informed program decisions, program evaluations, and statistical analyses using STATA and other programs.
Before joining the Integrated Healthcare Association in early 2009, Ms. Yakunina was an analyst at National Economics Research Associates (NERA) in New York and San Francisco offices. While at NERA she worked on various healthcare related cases including: hospital and health insurance mergers, hospital certificate of need applications, evaluation of appropriate compensation of medical directors, and health insurance reimbursements to physicians.
Ms. Yakunina received a Bachelor of Science in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2006. While at MIT, she served as president of the student ambassadors association and participated in leadership and enterprise forums.
