IHA is looking for a creative, passionate and resourceful Marketing Associate to support our marketing team. This is a unique opportunity to roll-up your sleeves and learn about and contribute to all things Marketing within a dynamic environment. Core job duties and responsibilities:

Marketing Operations
  • Own the day-to-day tasks on our digital marketing channels and software (Hubspot, Salesforce, Jira, and Confluence), work with Marketing and Communications Manager to optimize
  • Own updates to and maintenance of IHA websites, working with web agency and Marketing Managers on optimization strategy and improvement roadmap as needed
  • Support development and maintenance of marketing performance dashboards by pulling information from HubSpot, Jira, Google Analytics, external partners, and internal stakeholders as needed

Conferences & Events Management

  • Support Marketing and Communications Manager to manage conference logistics including pre-and post-event communications and planning, internal scheduling, ordering materials/services, shipping, vendor management and more
  • Support IHA’s Annual Stakeholders Conference planning and execution as directed by Marketing and Communications Manager. Own event registration process and platform and event sponsor strategy, outreach and management
  • Maintain internal conference & events calendar

Marketing Communications & Content

  • Partner with marketing managers on social and content strategies. Work with social media contractors and oversee execution of strategies across all social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Support implementation of our brand refresh, ensuring our new brand platform, messaging, and story successfully roll-out and are sustained across our channels, campaigns, and collateral
  • Assist in or lead the creation of marketing content and tools such as collateral, presentations, emails, blog posts, videos, and case studies
  • Draft, design and send email newsletters, drip campaigns

Team support (as needed)

  • Coordinate with external creative freelancers, vendors, and partners
  • Develop, roll-out, and optimize processes and templates across the team


  • BA/BS degree
  • 1-2 years experience working in marketing or communications in a small, fast-paced, professional environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work well independently with little direction
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • Experience with and/or strong interest in managing and optimizing marketing software
  • Desire to be helpful in any way needed to support the team, program, and organization

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience working in healthcare or healthcare technology
  • Event management experience
  • Knowledge of Google Suite, Salesforce, Hubspot, WordPress, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • A passion for social media and websites
